‘Conditional’ Will Power

Note from Neeter: This post is purposely and directly excerpted from Frances J. Roberts’ Come Away My Beloved.  As always, I post with full expectation that you are inspired and encouraged to move closer towards the goal God has set before you~ read and be blessed!

THE CALL of LOVE
Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”
JOHN 21: 15

FAITH and ACTION~ “...In your daily walk, you shall be victorious only to the degree that you trust Me. I can help you only as you ask. I will meet you at every point where you put action alongside your prayers . Only as you walk will the waters of adversity be parted before you. Overburdened as the world is with trouble and sickness, I need those who have proved My sufficiency in everyday, personal experience to lead the suffering to the fountains of life. I need those who have found Me as burden-bearer to help bring deliverance to the oppressed. Never begrudge time given to chronic complainers, but recognize in each encounter the opportunity to speak a word that may lead to their liberation…see him as what he can be if he gives himself unreservedly to Me.”

“My will is not a place, but a condition. Do not ask Me where and when, but ask Me how.” ― Frances J. Roberts,
My will is not a place, but a condition. Do not ask Me where and when, but ask Me how.” ―Frances J. Roberts,

“If anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.”
JOHN 9: 31

SAFETY in GOD’S WILL~“My will is not a place, but a condition.
Do not ask Me where and when, but ask Me how.
You will discover blessing in every place, and any place, if your spirit is in tune with Me. No place or time is more hallowed than another when you are truly in love with Me.
I direct every motion of your life, as the ocean bears a ship. Your will and intelligence may be at the helm, but divine providence and sovereignty are stronger forces . You can trust Me, knowing that any pressure I bring to bear upon your life is initiated by My love, and I will not do even this except as you are willing and desire.
Many a ship has sailed from port to port with no interference from Me, because Strong Will has been at the wheel. Multitudes of pleasure cruises go merrily on their ways, untouched by the power of My hand.
But you have put your life into My keeping, and because you are depending on Me for guidance and direction, I shall give it.
Move on steadily, and know that the waters that carry you are the waters of My love and My kindness, and I will keep you on the right course.”

Experiencing Stunted Growth?

Jesus says,
“…be perfect
[growing into complete maturity
of godliness in mind and character,
having reached …virtue and integrity],
as your heavenly Father is perfect.
In a word, what I’m saying is, Grow up.
You’re kingdom subjects.
Now live like it.
Live out your God-created identity.
Live generously and graciously toward others,
the way God lives toward you.”
–Mt.5:48, AMP; MSG
 ~ ♥ ~
IF we are not different (as in better) than we were, it means we are experiencing “stunted growth”. Stunted growth is a primary manifestation of malnutrition. When born of God at “new birth”, we become alive spiritual creatures who need spiritual food. The only way to get spiritual nutrition is through HIS WORD.

“You have been Christians a long time now, and you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things a beginner must learn about the Scriptures. You are like babies who drink only milk and cannot eat solid food…. For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing {and} sifting {and} analyzing {and} judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart. “ ~Heb.5:12, NLT; 4:12, AMP

Of course, our “very thoughts and purposes of the heart” should be like His~ all about Kingdom Business. Again, the only way is through His Word! Jesus tells us in His ‘The Sower Sows The Word’ parable that how much we grow depends on how we receive The Word; it depends upon the condition of our souls~ our soil. During the era Jesus taught this lesson, it was customary for the farmers to scatter their seed in winter because it was the region’s rainy season. They sowed during winter in hope that the crops would come up in time for the sunny season during May or June. For this reason, the condition of the ground and soil were directly relational to the crop produced from the sowing. Farmers care for the plants; they want the best return on their efforts of toiling the soil. So does Father-God; He is The Gardner (John 15); we are the soil. Let us do our part in producing a crop worthy of Him!

Luke 8:15
…the good soil represents honest, good-hearted people.
They listen to God’s words and cling to them
and steadily spread them to others who also soon believe.”

(TLB)

"...seize the Word and hold on no matter what, sticking with it until there’s a harvest."
“…seize the Word and hold on no matter what, sticking with it until there’s a harvest.”

MSG~ “…the seed in the good earth—
these are the good-hearts who seize the Word and hold on no matter what, sticking with it until there’s a harvest.”

Like my pastor always says, “It is never just about you!”

HE WHO WINNETH SOULS IS WISE
Pro. 11: 30
AMP~ The fruit of the [uncompromisingly] righteous
is a tree of life, and
he who is wise captures human lives
[for God, as a fisher of men
–he gathers and receives them for eternity].

NLT~ “The godly are like trees that bear life–giving fruit…”
